≥ 8.2 Automatic collection of the advertising ID has been removed. You need to collect it from your side and pass it to Batch with:

BatchUser.editor()
  .setAttributionIdentifier("XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX")  // Null to erase.
  .save();
