The Email Subscription API has been deprecated and replaced by the Profile API, which does everything this API did and more.

Timezones
Timezones must be supplied in the IANA TZ identifier format. For example, Europe/Paris.
Not all timezone identifiers are supported. The forbidden identifiers are:
- Ones that do not conform to the "X/Y" format, such as "Jamaica"
- Timezones starting with "Etc/"
- Timezones starting with "SystemV/"
- Timezones starting with "US/"
