# Final Check

Before sending your first emails, ensure you have completed all the steps of Batch's subdomain warm-up methodology:

## Performance Assessment <a href="#h_b03ab42552" id="h_b03ab42552"></a>

Have you assessed your current email performance?

{% hint style="info" %}
Read again the [Performance Assessment guide](https://doc.batch.com/guides-and-best-practices/email-deliverability/domain-and-ip-warm-up/step-1-performance-assessment) for more information.
{% endhint %}

## Technical Setup <a href="#h_8c165bccd3" id="h_8c165bccd3"></a>

* Set up dedicated sending and tracking subdomains for each email activity (e.g., transactional automations, marketing automations, email campaigns).
* Verify each sending subdomain with Google Postmaster Tools.
* (Optional) Consider setting up a DMARC monitoring tool for additional insights.

## Compliance & User Targeting <a href="#h_a84704a286" id="h_a84704a286"></a>

1. **Compliance review**: Ensure adherence to local regulations, Batch's guidelines, and inbox provider best practices (see "Compliance review" section).
2. **User Base Review**: Select the right user segments to begin your warm-up and populate your Batch recipient base accordingly. (See "User base review" section)

{% endhint %}

## Warmup Planning & Scheduling <a href="#h_a6085d979a" id="h_a6085d979a"></a>

1. **Warmup goal**: Define a clear target for daily email volume you aim to reach.
2. **Warmup schedule**: Create a timeline for gradually increasing email volume for each subdomain.
3. **Campaign/automation migration order**: Determine the sequence for migrating campaigns and automations.

{% hint style="warning" %}
For more information, see: "[Defining a warmup target](https://doc.batch.com/guides-and-best-practices/email-deliverability/domain-and-ip-warm-up/step-4-estimate-your-warmup-target)" & "[Preparing your migration schedule](https://doc.batch.com/guides-and-best-practices/email-deliverability/domain-and-ip-warm-up/step-5-warmup-schedule)"
{% endhint %}

## Email Templates Review <a href="#h_cb4f3d3c2f" id="h_cb4f3d3c2f"></a>

1. **Campaigns/automations setup**: Make sure all your campaigns and automations have been set up correctly on Batch dashboard (e.g. targeting, language, etc).
2. **Email templates**: Double check your email templates to be sure they have been optimized and everything is working as expected (e.g. links, personalization, etc).

{% hint style="warning" %}
See "[Email templates review](https://doc.batch.com/guides-and-best-practices/email-deliverability/domain-and-ip-warm-up/step-6-templates-review)" section for more information.
{% endhint %}

Once everything is in order, take a final look at your email templates, automations, and campaigns before hitting send!

By completing these steps, you'll be well-positioned for a successful email warm-up that strengthens your sender reputation and fosters positive subscriber engagement.
